Make meals you can be proud of.
Make meals you can be proud of.
My first job cooking was at 15 in a small pizza shop. I then went on to cook in a small Italian restaurant followed by a few pubs/bars and grills. Since leaving the world of restaurants, my favorite hobby and greatest passion is cooking. I cook for my family, my friends and special meals for myself. It is how I give when someone is in need -- it is my love language.
I come from a family of wonderful cooks. My grandparents owned multiple restaurants and my mom took her cooking to a new level making meals for me and my seven siblings which has now grown to meals for 38 people. We all pitch in. Cooking and eating delicious food is what we do when we are together. Making meals is how we bond. It's how we fill the time between making jokes and making memories.
I believe that cooking should be fun, creative, and approachable. I strive to make delicious and healthy meals that are accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level in the kitchen. My hope is to teach the basics of cooking and then allow whoever the chef is in the family to be able to throw together a meal with what they have o
I believe that cooking should be fun, creative, and approachable. I strive to make delicious and healthy meals that are accessible to everyone, regardless of their skill level in the kitchen. My hope is to teach the basics of cooking and then allow whoever the chef is in the family to be able to throw together a meal with what they have on hand and to alter their favorite recipes so it meets their families needs.
Book a party with friends or learn to cook with your children for $50.00 per person plus the cost of food. If you stay home with young kids and want to have a cooking lesson with a few friends, having kids around is all part of the fun. I will do the shopping, you will provide the kitchen. It is meant to be a fun, positive and relaxing activity. Catch up with old friends, connect with new ones and laugh along the way. Each class will be 1.5 hours to two hours long including introductions, prep, cooking, eating and cleanup.
Make sure you have enough seating for everyone you invite. Make sure you are okay with a touch of a mess that will be cleaned up at the end. You will be responsible for telling your friends the cost and covering anyone who does not pay. You also get to keep all the left-overs. I will need to know the menu and dietary restrictions three days in advance and we will need to discuss what items you have in your kitchen before our cooking session.

Cooking with Cristin was such a fun and educational culinary experience. Cristin walked us through each and every step of the recipe, giving expert tips along the way. This made cooking a full meal from scratch seem so simple. Being able to ask her questions as she explained the steps was so much more helpful than just following a recipe. Now I feel confident to make this meal at home for my family. Cooking with Cristin was the perfect way to spend a night with friends.
Cristin does an amazing job of explaining the steps of each dish she makes. She takes her time to answer all questions and really make sure you understand and can replicate it at home. This class really helped me to gain confidence in the kitchen and be excited to try making new dishes for my family!
